As part of my coursework I have had to write an article for a Fashion magazine. For my article I chose to write about something close to me heart and that was curvier, healthier looking women in fashion. I'm not the slimmest of people and I've accepted that however it still irritates me that there are still dangerously thin models parading around in magazines and on the runway. I wish that more people in the fashion industry would realise that for many women it is not healthy to be that thin. Something I've noticed has well while researching has been that sizes in fashion go from one extreme to another, models are either size zero or plus size e.g. size 14 and up. Whats so wrong with sizes 10 and 12? It seems like it would be a hap
py medium and widen the spectrum but sized 10 and 12 models are virtually unheard of. I'm 5,10' and a size 14, my size is in proportion to my height if I was much thinner I would look ill. I eat right and walk from one side of Aberdeen to the other most days so this is clearly the shape I'm meant to be, I'm curvy and I'm proud.
Cheeky picture of me posing in a changing room to show you my shape
